Looks like the Challenger is going to be REALLY popular. Dodge has already announced that they will build 5,000 Challengers as 2008 models. Yet 6,000 orders were taken since Monday. So it looks like Dodge is either going to have to plan for another 1,000 cars, or there will be 1,000 people that won't get their Challengers til 2009.All 2008 Challengers will be SRT 8 models with the 6.1 Hemi V8 engine. Color choices are Silver, Black, and Hemi Orange. Hemi Orange made up over half of the 6,000 orders. Delivery is planned for Spring of 2008.
